GIGI RAMOAN (Bombers' Founder!) STORY BEHIND NAME: My punk band occasionally covers the Ramones, I sing 53rd and 3rd. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Tall- Nose ring SIGNATURE MOVE: My sprinter's start- which I'm still working on. LOVES: Doug-less & Moni, art, screen printing, rockin' and a rollin, derby- actually, the whole punk rock lifestyle! HATES: Not doing something... good thing it rarely happens! LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I like to be funny. Sometimes I think I'm clever- but deep-down I know... it's just sympathy laughter. WHY DERBY?: I wanted to get in shape and have fun. It was either this or Punk-Rock Aerobics- aren't you glad I picked this? FAVORITE QUOTE: "Oh, can't I?!?!"

VIXEN DA CRUSHER (Bombers' Coach) STORY BEHIND NAME: It sounds like "fixing to crush her." Get it now? DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: My butt! Just ask anyone who knows me. SIGNATURE MOVE: Does getting injured count as a signature move? There is a good reason why I am now retired. LOVES: Witty people, sushi, crime dramas, really great novels, super hot showers, LPs, Shakespeare, Mr. CrusHer and, of course, my lil' CrusHer. HATES: People who only point out problems but never offer solutions, inconsiderate drivers, okra, reality TV and being cold. LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: My cat once got stuck to my face. It was very traumatic... for both of us! WHY DERBY?: My grandfather owned the first skating rink here in town. My mother played derby, and now my sister and I both play. It's in our blood! ALLEY CAPONE STORY BEHIND NAME: I have a fascination with the Prohibition-era gangsters, and a morbid curiousity with the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, hence my number: 214M DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: My curly hair and short shorts/skirts SIGNATURE MOVE: The Knee Pads, LOL LOVES: My kids, who are so supportive of me being in derby; music; derby. HATES: Bad drivers, cucumbers, roses! FAVORITE SONG: "I'm About to Whip Somebody's Ass" by Ray Hagin and "You're Going Down" by Sick Puppies LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I really want to drive in a NASCAR race, just once! WHY DERBY?: Rebel asked me to attend a practice with her and check it out... I was hooked from the moment I stepped in the door. AREAL NIGHTMARE STORY BEHIND NAME: It was either this, or 'Beast Infection.' Which would you choose?? LOVES: Boss Hawg!! (My and Nikki Styk-9's husbands' band) LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: My number, 1428, is the house number from the famous Nightmare On Elm Street horror movies. WHY DERBY?: Great exercise, cool chicks, and I get to whip some a$$ without going to jail! FAVORITE QUOTE: "If you ain't first, you're last!!"

BELLA FIRE STORY BEHIND NAME: I might have been referred to as a little "Ball of Fire" once or twice. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: The girl "with the naturally curly red hair" SIGNATURE MOVE: Yoga in skates LOVES: My two little evil Pekingese. HATES: Chewing gum, passionately. FAVORITE SONG: "Fire" by The Cult, "Never Been To Spain" Three Dog Night. LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I started College when I was just 15. And I'm a certified forklift operator trainer. Two very separate statements! WHY DERBY?: I was born to Derby. When I was going to see Derby for the first time my Father said "To watch or to join?" BLAQUE JAC STORY BEHIND NAME: Besides stating the obvious, a friend of mind called me that as a joke when i started roller derby. To make it more unique, I put a twist in the name. You see, the name is from an R&B group, and it stands for Believing in Life and Achieving a Quest for Unity in Everything DAT!! LOVES: Chocolate chip cookies and After-Bout Pizza! WHY DERBY?: The bond between all of us girls. Yeah, we may be mad at one another at times, but we can come together and work as a team when needed!

BRUISY LAWLESS STORY BEHIND NAME: I'm a little bit of a nerd and all the other nerdy references were taken. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Red Glasses? Big Boobs? LOVES: Baking, music, science, sewing, dogs with nasal problems, whiskey voices and derby! HATES: Peas, expired food, foaming hand soap, needles and bee stings. FAVORITE SONG: Alex Chilton -The Replacements LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I would love to learn how to play the banjo. WHY DERBY?: A friend told me I should show up. I showed up to practice and stayed... BUSTY BRUISER STORY BEHIND NAME: It just fit. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Red fishnets, white tube sock, tattoos. LOVES: Sewing and Coffee HATES: When people ask me: "Are those real?" (My tattoos, of course. What did you think I was referring to??) FAVORITE SONG: Jackson- Johnny Cash and June Carter LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I'm blind in one eye and I will still kick your ass! WHY DERBY?: I was once quoted as saying: "You get to look cute and beat the crap out of people!" FAVORITE QUOTE: "You get to look cute and beat the crap out of people!"

CAJUN SINSATION STORY BEHIND NAME: I'm from Louisiana and I bring that spicy Cajun sensation!!! SINsation was just a fun twist on it because I'm not as sweet as I look! DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: I'm pint-sized! SIGNATURE MOVE: Faking out Blockers! LOVES: My sweet little boy, roller derby, girls' nights, the beach, exercise. HATES: Obnoxious drivers. LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I've played piano since I was 5-years-old! WHY DERBY?: I saw my first bout last year and I just knew I had to join. After almost a year of Yakuza trying to convince me, I took the plunge. FAVORITE QUOTE: "I don't believe in the Republican party or the Democratic party, I just believe in parties!" CALAMITY JAM STORY BEHIND NAME: I aim to cause great loss and misfortune to opposing teams. Plus, I'm a gun-slinging girl scout from Texas, so the name just made sense! DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Freakishly long limbs. SIGNATURE MOVE: If I told you, I'd have to kill you! LOVES: The Big Lebowski, nooners, and my Boxer dog, Minni. HATES: Stupid people, white food, and drama queens (aka passive-aggressive womb donors that think they still own their ex-husbands). BRYAN WILKES (Bombers' Former Coach!) DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Being the world's tallest midget! SIGNATURE MOVE: The "finger-pistol" thingy. (Click the pic to see it!) LOVES: My daughter, very much, and then my derby girls! HATES: Mean people. FAVORITE SONG: "I Like Big Butts" and any Cher song. LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I was in and out of hospitals for about 3 years at the age of 8 to 11! I was very sick and they told me I would never be able to participate in athletics... they did not know me!! WHY DERBY?: At first, just to help out until they got established, but now they're part of my family! FAVORITE QUOTE: I have several... CRASH TEST BARBIE STORY BEHIND NAME: My boyfriend came up with it while we were driving on the interstate one day. Sounds like Crash Test Dummy, and Barbie is short for my first name. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Tall? You tell me... SIGNATURE MOVE: Still new (July of '09), and workin' on that! Right now, it's fallin' on my butt!

DITA VON CHEATS STORY BEHIND NAME: I love Dita Von Teese, so it seemed appropriate. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: I am a giantess. LOVES: Dancing, photography, ROLLER DERBY! HATES: Mayonnaise FAVORITE SONG: Letter to Elise by The Cure LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: !sdrawkcab gnihtyna yas nac I (I can say anything backwards!) WHY DERBY?: To be around strong women FAVORITE QUOTE: "20,000 roads, I went down, down, down... and they all led me straight back home to you."

DIVA DOES DERBY STORY BEHIND NAME: I guess I'm sort of a diva, and I do derby. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Dimples (but not on my butt) LOVES: My 2 grandchildren, Ethan & Mia HATES: People who talk behind your back LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: My age, and I ride a motorcycle! WHY DERBY?: I used to watch it on TV and thought, what a great way to kick some booty and not get in trouble for it! FAVORITE QUOTE: "It's not the destination but the journey."

ESTHER GIN & JUICE STORY BEHIND NAME: The end result of racking my brain until my ears bled. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Happy Dance and Hissy Fit SIGNATURE MOVE: The flying pancake monster, the "Penalty Box" (Only the refs know that move!) LOVES: Records, 'zines, kittens and total annhilation! HATES: Poverty, heplesslessness, and when the computer is acting up. FAVORITE SONG: Baby Baby by The Vibrators. and anything by Icon Gallery, Aphasia and Die Screaming. Anything by Bacon Towne Records (of course!) LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I've done 67 skydives. One was on my wedding day. WHY DERBY?: Because every time I came to a game I got a flutter in my stomach. FRENCH CURVE STORY BEHIND NAME: It's an instrument that is used to make curves in commercial art, although I've been mistaken for French Curb! DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Blue eyes and helmet to match! SIGNATURE MOVE: Holding the inside. LOVES: The Eiffel Tower, knee socks and cinnamon gum. HATES: Cheaters. FAVORITE SONG: Anything by Nat King Cole. LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I probably should have been born in the 1920s! WHY DERBY?: Hell of a way to take out your frustrations! JULIA SEIZEHER STORY BEHIND NAME: I'm pro at organizing hostile takeovers! DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: My evil glare! SIGNATURE MOVE: Conquering men! LOVES: My family and My BFF (Miss Fitz), oh...and Orbit gum! HATES: Empty ice cube trays , people telling me I can't do something! FAVORITE SONG: "Best of You" by the Foo Fighters LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I have a birthmark shaped like Texas on my knee! WHY DERBY?: Because someone told me I couldn't. KIMICAL WARFARE STORY BEHIND NAME: My original name was OJ Kimson! I liked this one better- I knew there had to be some Dead Kennedys song or lyric I could rip off. (Please don't sue me, Jello!) KRAYZEE WITH A K STORY BEHIND NAME: This is my 2nd name (officially), I didn't want to be a Hostess Cake, so I had to come up with something that fit. LOVES: Roller Derby, rocking out in my car and my great family and friends. HATES: Shitty people and ignorance. FAVORITE SONG: Currently "Breakdown" by Seether, but older "Bodies" by Drowning Pool. LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I have a huge crush on Donald Trump! WHY DERBY?: ProseHack made me do it! HATES: Sitting still and being quiet! FAVORITE SONG: According to hubby it changes every week... currently its Out Ya Mind, ask me again next week LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I'm a preachers kid... that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!! And believe it or not, this is the first sport I have ever done!! LOVES: Roller Derby, Natural Childbirth, Music HATES: Bugs WHY DERBY?: To become friends with the awesomest group of girls there ever was! FAVORITE QUOTE: "Woof!"

MIA PSYCHO STORY BEHIND NAME: When I was a Bomber Betty, I was working on a presentation about Freud that was being given in Vienna. That, and the mere fact that I was joining Derby at "my age" made "psycho" seem fitting! DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: A big blocker in a strait jacket - is hard to miss SIGNATURE MOVE: I'm working on angle-blocking jammers. (Thanks, Signal 20!) LOVES: Roller Derby! Artistic insanity, music. SIGNATURE MOVE: The Sha'BOOM (in which I use my Big Butt!) LOVES: My Kids, Husband, PIGS, Skating, Fast-Pitch Softball, and Music. HATES: Many, Many Pet Peeves- When people smack their lips when they eat is probably the biggest! LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: If you don't want someone to know something... then don't tell me, because I'm terrible at keeping secrets! MISS ANGEL FITZ STORY BEHIND NAME: I actually wanted "MissFitz" because I have always been a Misfits fan, but it was too close on the roster to another skater's name, so I added the Angel from the misfits song Little Angel #@%*, one of my favorite songs by them. DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: Ginormous Bruises & mah big ol' booty, and possessing razor-sharp shoulders! SIGNATURE MOVE: Landing as hard as possible on my butt. LOVES: Derby, Music, Betsey Johnson, Robots, Making Jewelry, Halloween, cheesy old horror flics, sleep....I luuuuv sleep, oh and scars, I love those too! Can't forget my BFF! LOVES: Bradentucky Bomber Girl Esther Gin & Juice!! And Derby and Punk Rock and 'zines!! HATES: Canned vegetables passed off as fresh, DUI checkpoints, stoopid people, racism, sexism, the police, car problems, bouncing checks, homophobia, copy machines that only take credit cards...the list goes on and on... SIGNAL 20 STORY BEHIND NAME: Eve L. Twin named me because my real name is Signa, and both our hubbies are firefighters, and "Signal 20" is a firefighter's ten-code for a crazy person! DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: I always have on undies that say something, and I'm always showin' my butt! SIGNATURE MOVE: Flippin' my skirt up sometimes when I clear the pack! LOVES: My family, my horse, and my derby sisters! HATES: Slow-ass people clogging up the roadways! I guess I drive like a jammer, too! SINDA ROLLER STORY BEHIND NAME: I'm a princess! (I like to think I'm one!) LOVES: My Family, Food, Shopping, Riding my motorcycle and SHOES! HATES: Passing up a good deal on shoes! SOCIAL DEE STORY BEHIND NAME: Social Distortion has been one of my favorite bands since I can remember, plus I have a strong infatuation for Mike Ness. LOVES: Tattoos, Elvis, classic cars and motorcycles, Roller Derby, Tootsie Rolls and, of course, my two beautiful daughters!! HATES: Bad manners, unloyal friends, and people with out a clue!! LITTLE-KNOWN FACT: I was a nude model at one time in my life! Very tasteful, of course!! WHY DERBY?: Because of the intense energy, and, of course, all the wonderful people I get to meet. STRAWBERRY SHORTSK8 STORY BEHIND NAME: Frieda Killagen had a little sticker of Strawberry Short Cake on her phone, and she showed it to me and said, "Look she's short a skate!" DISTINGUISHING FEATURE: My shortness, big butt, loud mouth, crazy laugh when you hit me, my sneer, and my sweet ta-tas! SIGNATURE MOVE: 2-4-1 Special hit, or anything to not fall and get away from people. LOVES: Roller Derby, Music, my puppy, sushi, BBQ, monsters, zombies, make-up, fake blood, my band Lesson Learned, scary movies, fantasy, puppets, claymation, theater, costumes, painting, sculpting, animation and sci-fi.
